The only accurate way to know if your lawn or garden needs lime is to have the soil tested. This information will help us in tailoring a customize fertilizing plan, to get the best results out of your lawn. That’s why M&I Landscaping & Irrigation starts with a soil test. The results of your soil test and the type of grass making up your lawn will determine what kind of fertilizer we apply. If your lawn requires restoration, you should aerate the turf with a core cultivator after you have applied amendments to the surface.
Watering the fertilizer washes the nutrients into the soil where it can be absorbed by the roots. Watering prevents fertilizer burn on the lawn and makes the nutrients accessible to plant roots.
